The result was redirect‎ to Good governance. Enough support below for establishing this redirect, despite opposition. If there is continued objection to a redirect here, that can be taken to WP:RFD to discuss; as no content was merged, nothing has to be kept long-term for attribution purposes. This is not a notable topic. It's not a coherent widely-used concept. While you'll no doubt find that people have said the phrase "good government", the same is going to be the case for lots of combinations of the word "good" + a noun. Thenightaway (talk) 16:14, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: Possible WP:ATD is a redirect to Good governance. Curbon7 (talk) 19:34, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: Give me a break. "Good government is a normative description of how government is supposed to be constituted"? Replace the word "government" with the word "burrito", you'd have an equally grammatically-correct article; so would an article on "good burrito" be appropriate? As nom said, any noun can be combined with the word "good". A redirect to Good governance is just encouraging lazy article-writing like this; the latter is already suspiciously broad, but can at least claim a few scholarly references. Not worth our time. • Redirect to Good governance -- My initial reaction was to merge, but there's nothing here worth merging. Cheers, Last1in (talk) 19:19, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
